Meeting for Worship on the Occasion of Business
Held at the Senior Citizens Service Center,
Bennington, Vermont
September 21, 2014
Present were Timmy Bullock, clerk, Juliet Wright, Auberta Galusha, Eliza Navias-Bell, Priscilla Tracy, Priscilla Tracy and Arnold Ricks.
Leadings come to individuals, but the group discerns whether they are genuine.

The recording clerk read the minutes for meeting for business for August 17, 2014, which were approved.
2014-31 Meeting for business approves the proposal by Ministry and Counsel to use the suggestions offered by Ministry and Counsel as a preparation for discussion of Taber’s
“A typology of Quaker theology.”
2014-32 Meeting for business is looking forward to a presentation to the Bennington College Interfaith Group on the topic of sexuality. The clerk will be in touch with Brooke Morrison about a date of Friday, November 7, or Friday November 14. November 14 is the preferred date. We will use the November post-potluck discussion as preparation for our discussion.
2014-33 Meeting for business appreciated Arnold Ricks report on the origins of the monies that the meeting holds in our capital account. He will give a summary to our recording clerk that will be entered as part of our permanent minutes.
After a period of silent worship, the meeting adjourned.

Pastoral concerns discussed
14-12 Ministry and Counsel suggests the following outline for the October 5, post potluck discussion for the Taber Typology of Quaker Theology:
1. Circle self-definitions.
2. Compare one’s early, more learned childhood beliefs with later-experienced beliefs.
3. Is there then any general statement about ourselves that we can make as a gathered group of spiritual seekers.
