Bennington Vermont
December 23, 2012

The meeting for business cannot be understood in isolation; it is part of a spiritual discipline.
John Punshon, 1987, 2.85 Quaker Faith & Practice, Britain Yearly Meeting, 2005
Out of the silence the Clerk read the attached passage.
2012-65 Meeting for Business asks the clerk to be in touch with Cail Johnstone about what Poultney perceives as their needs as they establish their worship group.
2012-66 Meeting for Business asks the clerk to be in touch with David Black at Bennington College and ask how they might wish to build on our first time together. We are particularly interested to learn what aspect of Friends they would like to pursue.
2012-67 What can we do to make the experience of engagement in meeting as vital and deep as it can be? Meeting for business suggests that Ministry and Counsel develop a post potluck discussion in the new year.
2012-68 Meeting for Business asks the clerk to be in touch with the chaplain at Williams College about students who might welcome learning about the Bennington Friends Meeting. Juliet Wright will be in touch with Sandra Beer of Old Chatham Meeting and ask if she will elaborate on her question to Juliet at Powell House.
After a period of silence the meeting adjourned.
