 It behooves all to be cautious how they detain a Meeting..In 300 minutes are five hours, and he that improperly detains 300 people one minute, besides other evils that attend it, does an injury like that of imprisoning one man five hours without caus

 Present were Timmy Bullock, Juliet Wright, Arnold Ricks, John Maloney, Bain Davis, Auberta Galusha, Ruth Hawes, Peggy Kahn, Maurice Kahn, Joseph Tracy and Priscilla Tracy.

Out of the silence the clerk read the above passage from Advice for Clerks, by Mariellen Gilpin.

2009-19 The minutes from Meeting for Worship on the Occasion of Business from February 15, 2009 were read.

 2009-20 Joseph and Priscilla Tracy thanked the meeting for supporting their trip to the Woolman Hill Music Workshop.

 2009-21 Timmy Bullock, as co-clerk of Ministry and Counsel, presented the minutes of its meeting of March 14, 2009, which are appended.

 2009-22 The first draft of the State of the Society Report was reviewed and edited.  The meeting expressed appreciation for Fanny Culleton’s guidance and leadership in the drafting of the State of the Society Report.

 2009-23 The meeting approves the oversight committee for the May 16th marriage of Sadelle Wiltshire and Ann Coakley.  The oversight committee shall consist of Timmy Bullock, Priscilla Tracy, Bain Davis and Auberta Galusha.

 2009-24 After discussing ideas for our participation in Mayfest, the meeting has decided to have a booth in the event this year.  An adhoc committee will be formed to organize our participation in the event.  We will discuss the theme for our booth at our next meeting for business. 

 2009-25 The meeting approves welcoming Debbie Humphries from Hartford Meeting to visit on the weekend of May 2-3.

 2009-26 New England Yearly Meeting Mid-Year Sessions will take place in Portland, Maine on April 17-19, 2009.  Friends interested in participating who need financial assistance might consider asking the meeting for such assistance.

 After a period of silent worship, the meeting adjourned.
